Amy Nauiokas
Biography
Amy is Founder and CEO at Anthemis. She is a visionary leader and innovator with a track record for driving change in traditional industries through the creative application of technology.
Amy has a strong reputation for transformational business success and leadership; defining, setting and executing strategy across multiple industries. As a venture capitalist, Amy identifies and invests in early stage technology companies focused on the disruption of media, financial services and marketplaces. She has built a strong investment portfolio of best-in-class, high-growth companies. Her exits include Zoopla, the UK’s leading property research website; Fidor Bank, acquired by BPCE in 2016; Simple, acquired by BBVA in 2014; and Climate Corporation, acquired by Monsanto in 2013.
Amy was previously CEO and Managing Director of Barclays Stockbrokers, the UK’s largest electronic retail broker with £10 billion in assets under management, where she successfully transformed the business from a share-dealing service into a multi-product, global financial services portal, growing revenue 40% in under two years.
She is currently a board member of Flo Technologies, Koffie Labs, Matic, Arthena and Inked. In 2010 Amy co-founded the Bubble Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization that partners with New York City schools to promote healthy living through wellness education. Amy has also served as International Board Chair of Make-A-Wish®, and is a member of the Dickinson College board of trustees.
Amy received her Master’s in International Business from Columbia University, where she has also served as an Adjunct Professor in the business school, and received her BA in International Studies from Dickinson College.
