Rachel has dedicated her career to leveraging technology for global economic empowerment and financial inclusion. She currently serves at the United Nations Development Programme’s Chief Digital Office, managing initiatives aimed at developing policy and risk frameworks for countries striving to build safe and inclusive digital public infrastructure.
Before her current role, Rachel focused her career on product management. She was part of the founding team for MiKashBoks, a platform digitizing informal saving groups in West Africa. MiKashBoks was a finalist at the Harvard President’s Innovation Challenge and received 2nd place in the MIT Fintech Competition in 2021.
Rachel also served as a Product Manager at Kiva, where she facilitated the deployment of $30M in funds from corporate partners to borrowers worldwide and led the implementation of Kiva Protocol, a digital identity platform in Sierra Leone.
Rachel holds a Master’s in Public Administration for International Development from the Harvard Kennedy School and a BA from the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley.
